The Games for Health Conference is a wonderful mixture of hard-core gamers, healthcare professionals and technology enthusiasts. All united by a common goal: creating fun and engaging experiences that improve health and well-being. We think that’s cool, since improving health is all TEDxMaastricht is about. So we decided to team up with the upcoming Games for Health Europe conference by launching the ‘Future of Health Award’. Submit your idea for an innovative game for health during the Games for Health Europe conference on the 24th and 25th of October in Amsterdam. The five best contestants can present their pitches during TEDxMaastricht in April 2012. The winner gets the means to develop his or hers winning game. May the best game win!

To get inspired or have an actual (prototyped) game you may enjoy the games 4healt jam in eindhoven! Winners of this 50 hour game develpment contest, recieve €500. And finalists are invited to present their game at the game for health europe conference. This may increase your succes on winning the award. But above all, participating in de games 4health jam is a great oppertunnity to meet new people, build portofolio AND have a lot of fun!
