Sometimes words can not express enough and music is needed to take the rumble in your head and find our way through emotions. Finding my way in the mixed emotions of things that occurred on the field of disruption of compassion for medical students i tried to act on it in my own way, with a group of great people, as i wrote in my blogpost “trapped in two worlds“, we’ve founded the “Compassion for Care” movement the express and adress the needed change in healthcare to solve the increasingly pressure.

Salmaan Sana used other skills to express himself after we’ve agreed to put him on the big TEDxMaastricht stage, a video that is shown many times already and gave inspiration and hope for many.

Today -almost 9 months after TEDxMaastricht- another way of expressing and addressing the core values of Compassion for Care is added : The Compassion for Care song by Marion Coster (@MarionCMusic). Performed for the first time on the Radboud REshape Pecha Kucha, i asked Marion to professionally record the song so it could spread the word by music. And BOY did she do this right. Not only they have recorded the song very professional, but her neigbourboy also made a awesome video-clip of it.
